Cloudflare Integration

Connect Cloudflare for DNS, SSL, WAF, and security analysis.

#Setup

    Get a Cloudflare API token

    Go to dash.cloudflare.com/profile/api-tokens. Create a token with permissions: Zone → Zone Settings → Read, Zone → DNS → Read, Zone → Firewall Services → Read.

    Connect in Vergate

    Go to Integrations, click Connect on Cloudflare, and paste your token.

    Verify

    Click Test Connection.

    SSL mode — Full (strict) is recommended
    Always HTTPS — Is the "Always Use HTTPS" toggle on?
    HSTS — Is HTTP Strict Transport Security enabled?
    DNSSEC — Is DNSSEC enabled for your zone?
    Min TLS version — Should be 1.2 at minimum
    WAF — Are managed rulesets active?

    Tip. Cloudflare's free plan includes basic WAF. Pro plan adds OWASP Core Rule Set. Either improves your security posture significantly.
