#Plans

Vergate uses Polar as the payment processor (Merchant of Record). Polar handles taxes, compliance, and invoicing globally.

#Monthly vs Yearly

All plans are available with monthly or yearly billing. Yearly billing saves ~22%. You can switch between intervals from the billing page.

#Changing Plans

Go to Settings → Billing and click Manage Subscription. This opens the Polar portal where you can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel.

Note. Downgrades take effect at the end of your current billing period. You keep your current plan's features until then.

#API Rate Limits

Free users: 3 scans total. Paid users: scans are limited by plan (see table above). There are no hard API rate limits — but scans run through a queue, so very rapid sequential scans may queue up.

#Polar Webhooks

When your subscription status changes (new, renewed, cancelled), Polar sends a webhook to Vergate automatically. No action needed on your part.
